TSA still asking women to “Raise your skirt”?

~ The Rebel ~ 2012/07/10 12:10:01
No, women still haven’t gotten used to this TSA practice. And it’s still offensive, humiliating, degrading, and makes being a woman an unfortunate preexisting condition (thanks, Nancy!). The TSA asked a female passenger at Philadelphia International Airport this morning to raise her skirt after she passed through the metal detector. The passenger who is in her mid-40s and a frequent flier was preparing for a domestic flight at 8:15 AM.

The TSA website does not require women to lift their skirts and skirts are not even mentioned in the Travel Assistant.

Where’s NOW or Gloria Allred when you need them?

TSA violates the Constitution's 4th Amendment. Our government is run by rogue individuals and keeps getting worse. The government violates its own laws today, it's pathetic!

Absolutely! You didn't know that the biggest majority of terrorist were women and the elderly?

I know folks love to complain about the TSA - but let's remember, their job is to make sure our planes are safe to fly on. I'd rather have to hike a skirt, get a pat down, take off my belt, or whatever than be on a plane that has some crazed terrorist on it.

Life is a little uncomfortable sometimes, people just need to get used to it.

I doubt if they're doing much better at the containers brought into US ports. And the border still leaks like a sieve!
