Triple-Tiered Pearl Manicures: Beautiful or Bizarre?

Diego Binetti got more attention for his models' nails than for his designs during New York Fashion Week. Each runway model had a tripled-tiered manicure -- three fake nails with a pearl in between each layer. Check out the picture below and let us know what you think. You may not be familiar with Argentinian-born designer Diego Binetti, however, he's definitely on our one to watch list during New York Fashion Week, as we can always expect his contemporary pieces to be paired with crazy nail art.

There is no sense in this foolishness. There is fashion then there is crap. If a few changes were made, I might consider it a form of art. This is tacky and gross.

obviously this is bizarre for real life, but everything on the Runways has to be bigger and more obvious. If there was an easier version of this I'd like this. Like maybe three striped orange and blacked and clear tipped nails with pearl decals

Actually....sitting here looking at the picture, I find that it makes my fingers have a little bit of a sympathy ache. Seriously. She looks like someone has ripped her nails back from the nail bed.
