Trackr was cloned by cloning specialist Hwang Woo-Suk of South Korea. BioArt International typically charges about $150,000 to clone a pet.
But the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says that cloned animals, (in this case, dogs) is dangerous because cloning has not been perfected and anatomical and physiological differences can cause the cloned animal pain.

BioArt International should not be allowed to clone animals, Trackr's clones may have health issues
That's stupid. There are plenty of unwanted, sweet animals at animal shelters everywhere, so why just create another?
