Awesome+4Our family are convertible people. My husband had one when we married many years ago. Our son's first car was an MG convertible, he now has a corvette convertible. Yes my husband and I still drive a convertible, We love convertibles at any age,

Nick Kang would approve while riding down an L.A. street at night wearing a suit and sneakers, sunglasses on the base of the nose, cranking Spandau Ballet :))
There was a man near where I went to college who was claustrophobic. Every day, no matter the weather, he drove down the road in his convert with the top down. Earmuffs, heavy gloves, an umbrella-gizmo to fit over his head. He was quite a sight.
Before 1965 there were no seat belts in cars at all, and the chest belt/3 point seat belt not required untill 1974, and Nixon should get the credit for it (he was well hated for it then for making automakers put them in) and all the other changes that made cars so much safer today resulted from Nixon's initiatives.

Come to Ventura and date poor and fabulous beach bums, surf bums, artists, raconteurs, pirates, muscians and the odd SEAL or Hells Angel :).
BTW- Suffering from too much heat?
Its 78f now here downtown Ventura,, with a pleasant breeze, the water is 71f, the sun is shining, people are laughing, kids are playing, sidewalk cafes bustling, all types of art, bikes all over, grassy parks, sandy beach's, odd ball kinky shops galore, muscians making nusic everywhere, clams, oysters, lonely Seamen. Come on down, pick up some gigantic lonely dude and go to Blackbeards BBQ at the Port of Ventura! :)
Yeah it was a commercial tagged to a commercial :)
- but why not hang out here instead of that hot desert, just now and then? Glad to have your company :).
I wouldn't mind one of those Jeep Wranglers for the warm months here though.
If you can ever arrange it, you should visit us in central California when things get dull some winter.
I have heard many great things about California and it will be the first on my list when I make some travel plans to America. It seems like my kind of place!
Just North is Santa Barbara. From Santa Barbara to Monterrey is a pure delight.
You would love it. And everybody is welcoming and friendly.
I would love to visit your country, but am not wealthy in cash. The next best is meeting the wonderful people who travel to visit us.
They are pretty awesome though for some people in some weather.
But I really wanted one like this:
