A very interesting fiim. However, when I got to thinking about it, scientists are being called crack pots and discredited for other positions too. Take for instance, global warming. There are hundreds of scientists who disagree with climate change being anything other than normal cycles caused by the same past trends the Earth has experienced before. We have had major glacier meltage before, severe droughts such as the Oklahoma dust bowl which covered about 4 states. And did you know that the deserts of New Mexico used to be a tropical setting which had many dinosaurs? That later, New Mexico and Texas still had rolling green grasslands that covered hundreds of miles apiece. The ancient Indians used to set fire to the grasslands to trap and capture the running animals for food.

There are many scientists who argue that the big bang theory can not be correct, because of the placement of older and newer planets does not fit the theory.

These days many theories are treated as fact instead of theories. I have heard of more than one scientist who has shown research and evidence to back up thier theories, only to have it disregarded totally and never seriously investigated, because it does not conform into the accepted theories. How can we grow, if every time new research is attacked viciously because it does not conform to accepted ideas? These days there seems to be noyhing but intolerance toward those who support creationism, or go against the politically inmpassioned mantra.
