I know that I had one and I miss him everyday. He was my mentor, confidant ,Pastor,
friend and Dad all wrapped up in one. This man raised 9 kids and half the neighborhood,everybody loved him.. He worked his tail off to support his kids and would give away his last dime to somebody in need. One of the funny things that he use to say....I'll quote him.. If I ever put a pair of pants on that had 5.00 in them,,,I was in somebody else's pants.
The greatest gift I ever had came from God; I call him Dad!

He and mom worked their butts off for us. They went without so we could have some of the things other kids had.
Dad took a second tour in Viet Nam to keep my brother from having to go. That's sacrifice.
Hope your family has a special Fathers Day this year.. and that MIkes Dad is healing.. thanks for the note too.. I haven't been on much at all.. Miss you.. we need to get together again soon.. hugs ..
