Today we the Sisters of Mercy celebrated the day we entered the convent...what a great day and the weather was just perfect!!

We began with a Mass of celebration and ended with a delicious chicken francaise dinner. What a great time !!!!!

Congrats, Sister Jean to you and your...well, Sisters.To me the Sisters, and Catholic Charities, are the saving grace of the Catholic Church in this day and age, especially in America. The Sisters do the real work of the Lord, they run the hospitals, and Catholic Charities help the poor. Too many Padres were only helping young boys and their Bishops were complicit by bouncing them from parish to parish and then playing every legal trick in the book. On top of that, The Flying Nun was a really great show. So, you guys saved the day.

She's beautiful. Maybe it's just because I'm a Sikh, but I never thought about nuns being beautiful. In looks, I mean. Most of the ones I've known personally are spiritually beautiful.

And congratulations. A call to serve the Creator with your whole life is a high privilege and saying "Yes" is a huge commitment. I think maybe even harder than marriage.
