ABSOLUTE deliciousness!! (like me)....lol. They are mostly brown sugar and butter witha little bit of flour and when you make them, the get holy, thin, and spread out and sort of caramelized. We only make them at Christmas.

The Mexican's rendition of the White Oreo sold at the Mexican Dollar Store where you can purchase a whole Large Oreo Sized Package (13-15 oz.) for $1.10 . . . At least until they get caught . . .

I do have three favorites: spritz, sugar cookies, and snicker doodles.

I made 7 dozen sugar cookies and 4 dozen spritz yesterday- all for the holidays, but others in the family will have to decorate the sugar cookies.

Thanks for posting this. I love Samoa's but hate paying the price for so little. I'm adding these to my shopping list ha ha!

You're welcome. Go to Walmart. They are like $2.50 and they taste the EXACT same!! I was skeptical but I said "what the hell" and bought a package. I was in shock at how they taste the exact same. Now I enjoy them year round AND save money :)

Homemade Chocolate chip cookies with nuts. We also like homemade oatmeal cookies with raisins, peanut butter cookies, ginger snaps, and just about any homemade cookie.
