Today, are you where you had imagined you'd be ten years ago?

no i wasnt a very motivated person and never had high hopes for myself. ikinda thought i would just get by and excepted that now im doing better than ever got 3 cars work every day and im starting school and its all to thank my girl for she motivates me to be better than i ever was

Heck no. I never imagined I'd be in this situation. Of course, I don't think I ever knew what I wanted to do with my life. lol

but I know where I will be ten years from now, so when I do get there it will not be surprising.

Exactly where I thought I'd be, I am retired and double dipping.

I never thought I would leave my home state but I'm very happy where I am.

not even in the same ballpark

I thought I'd still be doing the job I loved.

But then, I've never thought of my life in those terms. As a young guy in the military, I traveled half the world, and it's always left me with a bit of a sense of wanderlust. Secondly, I don't know if I were blessed or cursed with never having known what my official "role" was in life, and I'd be a liar to say that there's a side of me thats always envied those who knew what their true calling was, and then struck out in that direction.
Personally, I think I should have become a writer. I'm very in tune with myself and my senses.....there's a real pulling of the tides with me. I see, and feel things differently and probably, my calling lay somewhere within the arts I suspect.

I never imagined I'd go this far in life.

I thought I would be much more advanced in my career and personal life than I am now. I have nobody to blame but myself. People must make and seize opportunity.

Things are relatively good, but I never had that sort of vision to picture myself 10 years down the road. Or even 1 year down the road, for that matter.

10 years ago I was 10, I think its safe for all on this site to assume that I didn't become a paleontologist (don't even know if I spelled that right)
