Problem is, when I listen to music, there's a slight chance that I'll start off thinking about simplifying complex fractions, and I'll end up thinking about unicorns using laptops. It tends to make my mind wander a tad.
I like music or noise as a background. Love having the news on CNN, Fox or MSNBC as background listening and I am always there if a good story breaks! I prefer it quiet, however, when I want to read.
Sometimes music is good. Noise has never been a positive thing for me, although some people would say I shouldn't have answered this question because I do not have the required experience to answer. And to them I would counter, "Oh, I think. I just don't think clearly,"
I need dexedrine, I have ADHD.
I do best with a BIT of PEACE and Quiet ..
but I can also think clearly when I need to (and have to make instant decisions too)
