I've had double vision for the past year or so. my doctor says it could be a brain tumor, but I am not ready to except that. I use my smartphone for all my internet browsing. could it be related to this? staring at such a small screen closeup so often? has anyone else out there had the same issue?

I'd would be very unhappy about accepting anything that my doctor "thinks" it may be especially since that sort of thing may be diagnosed properly with sophisticated scanning equipment - MRI or CT. Don't jump to any conclusions or try to second guess something as important as this. My opinion (for what it may be worth - and I am not a doctor) is that it is not likely to be anything related to the use of your smartphone. Think of how much an avid reader of books spends looking at something close up. Best wishes.

A pleasure. I hope your doctor is wrong. The more I think about this the more concerned I am am about the professionalism of your doctor. Why would he / she expose you to a huge worry before investigating this more thoroughly? That makes no sense at all.
