Remember when Angelina Jolie's leg turned into a meme because she made it so ridiculosly prominent during the Oscars this year? Who'd have thought it would come back into style just a couple of months later? Thanks to Emma Stone, Victoria Beckham, Kate Middleton, and several models, the thigh-high slit is a spring smash.

According to WhoWhatWear, the thigh-high slit was first popularized fashion designers like Givenchy and Ossie Clark in the '70s. However, this latest round is pushing the boundaries a little bit. Polish model Anja Rubik wore a slit so high, you could see her thigh bone. (It still wasn't as outrageous as Jolie's leg-a-thon.) So what do you think, fashion do or fashion don't-even-think-about-it?

If you got it - I think it's ok to flaunt it - She probably wouldn't like right working in a steel mill dressed like that..but..she's in Hollywood probably on some red carpet - it's appropriate and even expected and she looks good.

As long as you don't show too much, I say Do. One of my prom gowns had a slit, but admittedly that was many years ago, lol. I don't think that I'd wear a gown with a high slit again.

Actually, it depends. Angelina J pic that some one posted is nice & classy. The Woman in the white is a bit over the top. I really don't think seeing a skinny a$$ pelvis is sexy.

I have always loved to wear this kind of skirt, it looks so classy and sexy ! It looks beautiful.
I don`t like the look of the white dress though, nice leg and nothing against the model but the dress is so ugly to me.

When done correctly, a thigh-high slit in a dress can be very pretty.

But Angelina Jolie looked ridiculous. She was too obvious, the way she stuck the leg out. --And that model who showed her hip bone, also looked terrible.
