The Whole Abortion Argument Of 'It's The Woman's Body She Can Do What She Wants With It' Goes Flying Out The Window When The Government Tells Us What We Can Or Cannot Do With Any Other Aspect Of Our Lives.

We're told we cannot smoke in buildings.
We're told we cannot take illegal drugs.
We're told that we have to wear seat-belts.
Mayor Bloomberg is telling New Yorker's That They Can't Buy Large Soft Drinks.
The list goes on and on and all this is because of Liberals and Environmental Nazis that want to control everything we do and yet, it's OK for a woman to KILL THEIR UNBORN BABIES, because 'it's their bodies'...
Just where is the logic?

I have adopted and know others that have adopted and we have fostered and I know others that have fostered.
These children deserve the same choice everyone else had.
If it's your decision, the government should peel off. If one government doesn't allow best believe another one does.
Many a American childless couple have to go to China, Africa, South America, Russia, to adopt a baby because of draconian "Adoption Laws" here in America.
I would rather see a baby in a loving adoptive situation then terminated any day.
And the rules, regulations, and cost of adoption has made babies an expensive commodody available only to the rich, The children go to the foster system, which spits them out on the street at age 18. Abortion ends suffering before it begins.
Yes it can be expensive but no more so then IVF treatments which can be extreamly wasteful. We went the cheaper route by getting our cert's through fostering kids which was very eye opening. In the last few years(going on 2.5 now) of fostering kids/babies there have only been 2 that were availabile for adoption and they were spoken for already. You NEVER have infants open for adoption in fostercare unless they are "damaged" autistic/downs/drug or booze that cooked their brain and even then their are people who are there for those babies.
Adopting a healthy newborn/infant ..you have a better chance of winning the lotto.
Elective abortion ends a persons life...and no ones life is without suffering that is a part of life. Have you ever read the book "A boy named It"? No one has a perfect life.
On any given day there are over 140,000 children waiting to be adopted and will NEVER find a loving family of their own. Please explain to me WHY they are never adopted and will never have a family of their own???? Yet you want every women who does not want hers to put another child into foster care. That is without a doubt the most outrageous suggestion ever!

'More than 100,000 children in the United States are in foster care waiting for permanent families. Hundreds of thousands of children around the world are living in orphanages or substitute care and need homes'

I am only looking at the US because I think domestic adoption and fostercare should be first and formost for American's. (Not that kids in other parts of the world are anyless important but that it's is so much more complicated to go outside the US to make your family.)
Plus MANY kids (infants on up) have health problems(You know when the mom does lots of booze/drugs whiel they are carring their baby or has some other issuse) that makes them a challange to place because people are scared they can not provide the care the child needs. So they are in the system till they age out and are put into the SSI type system.
The issue is that adoptive parent are just too damn fussy about what they want as a potential child that they are not willing to just have a child, they want a 'prescription' child to fit into their perfect family.
The pro-fetus people are not even looking at the entire issue here. The issue has nothing to do with adoption at all. THey simply want the fetus to be born and then they totally forget about what happens to those infants once they are born and are not perfect.
If they make the choice to have opps sex and become pregnant to do the right thing for the baby they made together and find a couple that wants a child...instead of making their unborn child pay the price for their irresponsable pleasure. It's a win win. The bio mama can live her life having learned to be more careful or wait till she is ready for what comes from sex and the child can live their life. It's not about being baby suppliers...it's about doing the right thing for their child that did not ask to be there but is.
When I was married, I could not used birth control pills, was allergic to latex and had an IUD that caused to much damage that it took me over 4 years to recover from it. YOur idea of using more than 2 method of birth control for some people is out regeious considering that the doctors REFUSED to do a tubal ligation because they did not believe I did not want another child.
Grow up and start looking at reality it is not what you think.
There's also an emotional toll on the birth-mother after putting their child up for adoption: http://www.helium.com/items/1...
Adoption's not as easy as you think.
And I know SO many people waiting to adopt. Most are like us and could care less what heritage the child is....but it's pricey and takes usally 3-6 years of jumping through hoops and waiting....and waiting...and waiting. That can be very discouraging to most people. I think there are less and less babies to adopt because of abortion....adopting an infant ...well you have better chances of winning the lotto then adopting a newborn(I actually know 3 people that have won BIG with the lotto and one VERY lucky couple, winning even BIGGER in my opinion, that adopted a newborn girl {of mixed heratage I should add and they could care less}).
It takes YEARS for a toddler in foster care to have parental rights terminated so they can be in a forever home...a long, tedious process even when the parents are in prison/abuse cases ect.
And the fact is that white, male infants with no mental problems are the kids in highest demand for adoption. If you don't fit in that category the chances of you being adopted are even smaller.
Well good is subjective to the mother, who is the who picks her babies parents, when she is pregnant. Most mothers have their pick of hundreds of THOUSANDsof want to be parents, of every walk of life.

If the child is deemed adoptable by the state, there is no parental rights left.
to keep the "family" together with drug rehab(did not work) visitations(she would come cranked out) ...she fought very hard (in court at least) to keep her rights. After 5 YEARS of BS the court FINALLY terminated her rights and they had another 2 years of waiting for it to be finalized.
Our system needs work. On a side note the cranker mama became pregnant again while all this was going on and that little boy was removed and my friends are trying to get custody of him and eventually adopt him. So he and his older sis can be raised together. He has suffered from the effects of his bio mom's drug use but is a SUPER sweet little one:)
