Doubt it, the pupils could be reacting the same way the may react if a person sees something beautiful but that doesnt mean they want to sleep with every thing they think is beautiful.

Pupil's dilate when you're aroused or see someone attractive, so when my pupils dilate at the sight of a hot guy but not at the sight of a hot girl it is a fair bet I'm straight. Meanwhile my lesbian friend's pupils will dilate at the sight of the women and my bi friend's at the sight of both.

My pupils dilate for more than those reason. And I honestly don't care. It's not like everyone is going around staring and focusing on people's eyes to see wether or not they're dilated....

Its a fact that your pupils dont just dilate in light, they also dilate when you are looking at someone you are attracted to.

Ive known this a long time, dont think ya should be asking this as an opinion question because it is a fact Art.

Learn to accept yourselves and quit trying to force everyone else to accept you.

Most people, myself included, wouldn't even care if you got what you want providing you quit paying these psuedo-scientists to try to convince us and ram it down our throats every day.

Why does it matter how our pupils dilate is what I'm trying to say, people spend time studying these things when there are more important things that are happening that should be concentrated upon. Maybe people should just worry about how we feel about an individual to decide what orientation they were.

Dear Hater, not everything has "critical" urgency, and we as a human race do not only tend to critical agendas.

Joking, your not that much of a hater that I need formally address you as one.

But I think your suggesting, some people stop doing there job, so we can all focus on each other the "right" way, which I dont really see enough of people not having relationships the "right" way to see it as a "Critical" probelm.

I just find that these "studies" take out some of the "human equation" of the whole process. what does it matter whether a person's pupils dilate only that he or she likes this other person. I'm not sure what drives these types of studies I don't care whether people are gay or straight just think that scientists including social scientists would have something better to contribute to society than pupil dilation. I would think that the way someone feels about another person would have more of an indication of whether that person was gay or straight than pupil dilation any day.

This study is about sexual orientation and pupil dilation. I am a social scientist MS in Human Behavior w/ BS in Sociology and History. I have devoted much of my adult life to working with youth in dealing with trauma and other family issues that could use much more in terms of studies than pupil dilation. Sorry just my opinion.
