a flat 6-7% income tax with NO deductions- regardless if you make $10 or $10,000,000.

The PROGRESSIVE income tax has never been intended for anything other than being a weapon to promote class warfare

in my opinion and experience the government intentionally complicates the tax code to cheat people out of their hard-earned money.

This is an excerpt from an answer I gave a fellow Sodahead:

"In my book, ‘justice for all’ means ANYONE making a dime (NO EXCEPTIONS) should pay some tax whether it’s a flat tax (somewhere between 10-20%), or a ‘progressive’ tax (not less than 2% and not exceeding 15%). Eliminate the ‘earned’ income credit (now there’s an oxymoron) and child deductions; that alone promotes personal responsibility. This way, EVERYONE has skin in the game."

It's w--a--y past time to simplify the tax code ... even veteran IRS personnel don't understand/agree on a specific point ... two years age I received three different opinions from them on the same question ... I went with the one that made the most sense to me.

End the federal reserve banking system, and with it goes the IRS, it's revenue extraction goon squad. Ron Paul has been telling the truth about the corrupt practices of the federal reserve system for more than 20 years. He is the lead proponent of the 2010 GAO audit of the fed that revealed while more than 4 million americans were being forced out of their homes in foreclosure, the same banks got zero interest loans from the fed.

No one should pay any taxes out of their income. An income tax is one of the 10 key principles of the communist manifesto. Income tax implies that the government owns your money, and that they can take directly from you what they deem necessary. Same with property tax. If you are paying a tax on property, you never own your property. You can pay off your mortgage entirely and they will still take your house away if you cant afford the tax on the property you allegedly own. You are paying rent. Property tax is also one of the key principles in the communist manifesto.

The only tax that should exist in a "free" country is a consumer tax. That way the people have full control over their earnings and the amount they save and spend in taxes. The poor can save by only purchasing the items they truely need to survive. The rich will pay more in taxes based on the fact they buy more and spend on more expensive items. In the end though, whether rich or poor, each person has full control over what they buy and therefore how much they pay in taxes. If you dont agree with how your taxes are being uses, then you can not buy anything as a form of protest against the govenrments use of tax money.

I dont think the income tax even legally applies to us, as many lawyers that have investigated the income tax have found. The problem is that we all go along with the fraud, and the government points their guns at us when we dont comply.

12% flat tax for all income above 12k per individual, zero deductions for anything. The 12% would be for the next 10 years, then it would drop to 10%. The extra 2% would be divided equally between the current house and senate members with the president and vice presidents also getting a cut. This 2% is just a bribe/pay off so the crooks will actual pass this fair tax plan.

But not JUST because there are more people who prepare taxes than firemen or police. The tax code needs to be simplified because it is too complex and cumbersome and hinders the economy. Lots of money is wasted in tax preparations each year, money that could be used to create real wealth.

    One of two options...

    Flat tax.
How much did you make? We'll take 20%
Paid in 30%, get back 10%, Paid in 10% pay in 10%
No credits, or write offs .... Thank you.
    End of form.

Or don't tax wages at all , but rather tax goods and services. -Fair Tax.
The more you spend the more you pay. Seems more practical

It's actually time to eliminate the tax code, repeal the 16th amendment, and require a constitutional amendment which requires any tax increase to go to a full ballot initiative. These crook in DC can not be trusted with our money whether it is a tax on income or consumption. Our money is not there so they can use it to pander to constituency groups to insure their re-election. It is to support our military for our protection not to pay deadbeats who don't want to work.

lets go to the FAIR TAX when everyone has to pay the same amount based on what you buy not what you earn. This will also create more revenue from all the illegals that make money & pay no tax to begin with. fair tax

Yes, but that is not in the Obama administration plans. The IRS estimate of additional workers to manage the Obamacare mandate was 17000 new IRS employees. In order to justify their jobs, they will bully the rest of us.

How about people do the intelligent thing and read the IRC(Internal Revenue Code) which is the IRS's bible. It is full of legal jargon to confuse the most astute lawyer. If you do decide to read it, try finding your occupation listed as required to file and pay. It is quite clear on who is liable. Most of the US population has been duped by threats and violence into doing something they are not required to do. How about we do away with the IRS and income tax altogether? Being that they are in reality, nothing but a collection agency for the Federal Reserve. How about the smart people in this nation use jury nullification to put the IRS out of business completely. If a law cannot be enforced, it does not exist.
Now, how about people look up the Paperwork Reduction Act? How about they then find the ODM number assigned to the 1040 form, required to use any document for legal purposes in the US Govt. There is no such number assigned to the 1040 form, because it is a bootleg document using a fake ODM number. A number required by law to be reissued every 2.5 years, maximum 3 years. The IRS used the same bootleg or bogus ODM for over 20 years. You cannot be asked to file a 1040 form, since the document does not exist on legal grounds stipulated by Congress.
This is a case that shows it in black white:

There would be a lot of IRS agents, fancy high power lawyers, accountants and tax preparers looking for honest productive work if I had my way about it.
