Do you ever interpret your dreams?

I try to interpret some of my reacurring, and very odd dreams. I find that web sites like dreammoods.com can help a lot, although their info is not always spot on. If you HAVE interpreted any of your dreams... what did they mean?
You!

Yes sometimes the more vivid ones hang around for several days.

Just about every vivid dream that i have i try to interpret. I think it's best if you try to interpret your dreams yourself since you're the one who experienced it. Lots of times my dreams are significant to events in my life, my attitude toward other people. One time I had alot of contempt for someone I care about and in my dream I hurt her which escalated into something more severe, then me telling myself " you didn't have to do that, all you had to do was walk away". Gladly it was just a dream and since then I've changed my attitude toward her and other people.
Another dream I had: I was peering out at a land that was just washed away by a flood, I hear of voice of a girl calling me over to her, I see that she's flowing blood from her "female area", i tried to stop it with my hand, she said " don't that's just me", then she pulled me toward her as if she was seducing me. About a month later I encountered a girl who looked exactly like the girl in my dream, we're now close friends. Without me telling her about my dream she told me about a similar dream she had about me: she tried to seduce me in her dream, but a flood came and washed us away. If our dreams aren't connected then it's a very strong coincidence, not to mention pretty awesome.

i don't try to interpret them but i do like to enjoy what is going on in them unless they are nightmares. i dream very clear, colorful and vivid dreams. i always have. the only difference now is i actually am aware i am dreaming while in the dream about 75% of the time. sometimes once i become aware of it i wake myself up.

When I was 16 I kept having this dream about walking up to a coffin and when I finally got close enough to see who was in it, the candles would all go out. In the back of my mind I thought maybe it meant my mother was going to get killed in a drunk driving accident or my grandma maybe was going to pass as she was pretty old. In my dream I was never able to see the face and I truly believe it is because my brain knew I could not handle it. There was a death in the family, but it turned out to be my little 8 year old brother. NOTHING prepares you for that.

They;re not always accurate. Sometimes people have dreams that are just random and mean nothing, as well.

I have had dreams that later came true..starting when I was 11 or 12, freaking and of course no one believed me. I once had a dream that stuck with me and later came true..I realized it had multiple meanings. Another that I dreamed several times when my daughter was small. At the time it made no sense at all but now it does. The latest was a dream about an ex husband..in the dreams we would meet but never talk or if we did it never had anything to do with our time together. I had these dreams for a couple of months. Then one day I found out he was dead and my dreams started about the time he died?? Dreams are truly weird but my dreams do not always come true..Thank goodness..do I interpret? No because at the time they make no sense.. only later!

That's weird. My aunt has dreams like that sometimes. Almost like you can see what will happen, or such...

It is very weird...like I said you cannot try to interpret them at the time but later if you happen to remember they will make a lot of sense!

Yeah, that happens to me constantly. I will forget about the dream I had the night before, then suddenly, out of nowhere, I'll be like,"Oh, yeah... thats what I dreamed about last night."

That is very strange. I've never heard of anyone not having dreams... I mean, everyone has dreams, they just some times dont remember it.

Maybe. Do you get enough sleep?
  • blissful Shadow 2012/02/18 19:10:11

No. I don't sleep on a bed, I sleep on my sisters' couch. Lost job and lost my home. But I know that the good Lord will help me to get back on my feet, soon..

Im sorry about your job... In this case, I do think it's lack of sleep. If one sleeps too much or too little, they dont have dreams
  • blissful Shadow 2012/03/10 20:58:19

Yes! that could be a possiblity..

It probably is. Try to get some good sleep, if possible, and you might dream more. In other cases, some people just have a really had time remembering their dreams
