Meet the sneaker wedge. The concept is pretty simple: half-sneaker, half-wedge, so you get comfort and swagger in one pair of shoes! This trend has been gaining popularity this summer as celebrities such as Beyoncé and Kate Bosworth have been photographed out and about in different variations of these comfy-cute kicks. I dont believe that anyone commenting saying they are uncomfortable has ever put one on their foot!! Wedge Trainers are SO comfortable, you dont even feel like you are wearing a heel.. Not when it comes to comfort anyway. I'm a mum and I wear them on the school run, to do errands, to the park...wherever! I have literally worn them every day since I bought them, so the they're not comfy theory is rubbish. Totally agree that they're not right for everybody, but if you want a comfy shoe that looks cool too, and you like a bit of extra height then these are perfect... This is coming from someone who up until my wedge trainers HATED wearing flats, I'm a total convert!

Sneakers are meant to be practical, wedges are not. It completely defeats to point when you combine them, and looks dumb, kind of like those swimsuits you can swim in because it would damage the material. If you want to look like you're wearing sneakers just wear sneakers.

Notice the next time you see a celeb wearing stuff like this...are they shopping or running around doing errands? Most of the time they are in comfortable shoes. They only wear this crap because the retailer or shoemaker has given it to them,for free, as long as the shoes make an appearance for the photographers or on TV.
A reminder to girls who wear this stuff all the time...when you get older you will have to hide your gnarly, mis-shapen, lumpy feet. I am 60 yrs old and my feet are one of my best assests and I still receive compliments.
