If the iPad is just a giant version of the iPod Touch.... Wouldn't an iPad Mini just be.... an iPod Touch?

The Public Is Growing Weary of Popular Technology

Facebook and Apple have been at the top of their respective games for some time now, but what goes up must come down. When we polled the public on the two companies, we found that most people were less than thrilled about the brands' future. Call it tech fatigue, or a simple need for change. Like gravity, the mysterious force of public opinion is making it difficult for popular companies to retain their audience. Facebook has been fighting it for a while, but even Apple could fall if it's not careful to keep up with public interest.

Although IQ is more about one's ability to solve problems, I completed a series of three proctored tests scoring between 96th percentile and 99.67th percentile. Along with that my father taught me how to use common sense.
I didn't attend college until I was 49 years old but maintained a 4.0 GPA and made the Presidents List with scholarships.
I worked most of my life solving problems for others in the construction, computer and teaching industries. My income was never more than mid middle class but I always kept my head above water.
I could have achieved more but I enjoyed what I did over the years. I guess the best thing that I accomplished was to raise six kids and see them all through college and they have all been fully employed through this economic terror.
I researched economics and economic history for years as I found time but now that I am retired I research full time and discuss economic issues with other sodaheads.
And, whats more important, you opened your heart.
Thank you for telling me.
Ban The reality shows and make mobile programmes free of charge......After all you have paid an arm and a leg to own the damn thing. Why should you have to pay the other arm and leg just to keep it running.
Even recorded music is not sacrosanct... with digitally enhanced instruments and sounds.
This is pretty silly, people.
The novelty is wearing off and folks can get back to healthier pursuits.
Granted many people feel the same way, but again, the same applies.
Facebook has to keep up with the times, and set the standard as they always have done. Each change does this...
Sure, you may not like their changes, a lot of people don't, but they continue to gain support, gain members, rather than lose them, so, like I said, your opinion there, not reality, at all.
Do you even know what happened with their IPO? They lost BILLIONS by making it way too high in the beginning. That was a pure failure, in an economic sense, in a business sense, in EVERY sense of the word. My guess is that you either have no idea how economics/the stock market works or that you had your head in the sand when even all the media covering said the offering was WAY too high.
Nobody said that membership increase means the change is good. If however the membership drops significantly, it's bad. Continuing along the same pace is NOT bad.
As far as their IPO, that's what happens when you play with stocks. Too many people bought the stock and immediately panicked. That's not Facebook's fault. There's no way to "predict" that stuff.
It's a Geek's world for me!
