Last year, a Starbucks enthusiast found out that the most expensive drink at the coffee shop was $23.60. Well, after some thorough research, one guy has found a way to double that price. Beau Chevassus created the "Quadriginoctuple Frap" for $47.30.

So what's the drink that will cost you almost $50? A venti-sized mocha Frappuccino with 40 espresso shots, soy milk, matcha powder, protein powder, mocha drizzle, caramel drizzle, caramel brulee topping, strawberry, two bananas, vanilla bean and Frappuccino chips. It sounds pretty darn excessive (and nasty) if you ask me. What's the most you would ever pay for a coffee drinks?

1. I like Quality coffee and not burnt acidy sh-t.
2. I don't like to get ripped off blind.

I generally make it at home for next to nothing. When I am shopping I get the tasting cup at Trader Joe's and that does not cost me anything, and I get to taste a snack along with it which costs me nothing. No I would not pay very much for any coffee drink. Coffee is best used as an enema.

I can't imagine drinking that heart attack in the making concoction. That amount of caffeine could very easily put you in the hospital or kill you. I pray this very stupid man does not die but should he get his death wish by drinking this $50 heart landmine, I hope his family sues Starbucks for millions. They should not even offer too make any drink over 3 shots strong.

Why do you hate Israel? Do you believe is freedom or not? Israel and Iraq are the only democracies in the Middle East so why do you want them destroyed? This is complete Bulls**t,
1. It is Hatred & Politically driven and not Coffee related, hence not answering to the point.
2. Irrelevancy - as Starbucks Opened a few branches in Israel and failed badly, for Israelis
don't like to be played for suckers or fools. because Starbucks coffee quality was the
worst you could get in a coffee house in Israel, while the prices were the most expensive
ever.

I grind my own beans too but sometimes I want a fancy coffee and I'm not at home so hey a few bucks is not a rip off and besides who wants to have store 5 different types of beans and 7 different kinds of bake goods just in case you get a craving for something different.

It'd have to be a large with triple espresso and some fancy flavorings and have to be a really special occasion...
But IF I go buy a coffee, it's probably $1-$2. Usually just make coffee at home; a dark roast coffee with cream and splenda.

Rounded up, it's about $5 for my white mocha if I get a venti, and I don't go often as it is, but that's my usual treat drink.

However if it's just a stop to get a pick-me-up, it's a double shot, which is about $3.

I still recommend drinking coffee from the home though. One coffee canister is about $12 and it makes over 100 measured cups of coffee. Get some cream and sugar if you like, maybe some Torrani syrup if you want something fancy in there, whipped cream for the top, and bada boom.
