The last time you got a speeding ticket was..........?

I can't remember the last time I got a speeding ticket but the last ticket I got was for not wearing a seat belt. Yup, I was the first person pulled (and ironically I almost always wore one but was borrowing a car and the seat belt was hard to pull up and I was just going one exit to the store) specifically for not wearing a seat belt. I passed a state trooper who had pulled someone, and he immediately pulled out and got behind me with the blue light. "M'am you are not wearing a seat belt". Yikes, no it's not I forgot when I was the most wanted person in a small town. I was leaving a drive in theater with my 12 year old daughter and her friend, it was really late. I had just bought a car but hadn't receive the title from the dealer and it still had dealer tags. As soon as I saw the light I remember that my driver's license had just expire like a week and a half before. This cop was such a jerk. He said he was going to tow car and that it probably didn't have insurance (it did and I guess when he called the station they must said he had no legal right to do that). So he started saying I couldn't drive (I explained that I worked in a different county and had planned to get my license renewed over spring break but had strep throat and at this time of year couldn't take off). He said I could not drive and asked if anyone could come and get me, I was about 45 minutes from home and didn't have anyone. He said I'd have to stay in a hotel and if I was caught driving that I would be arrested, go to jail and that my kids would go into the system. Then my daughter and her friend start crying their eyes out, I'm crying and he looks at them and says "don't be upset". Right. So he followed me about 35 yards or so to a Motel 6 (fortunately I had enough money to pay for a hotel). We made the best of it, though. I had to wait until late the next day until I could get someone to come and drive my car back. That cop was a total jerk.
