I am very close to being fully homeless due to this last layoff and economy.
I agree that a pet (I prefer a cat) makes life better cause they don't see what you don't have.

He was a truly beautiful animal. I'm very sorry...I've lost more than one beloved dog in my time and it's very hard....

Thank-you. It's sad that the jobs I'm qualified for (forklift) aren't hiring and everywhere else say I am overqualified.
I was told that for a job at an internet cafe!!! I am overqualified to POUR COFFEE!!!

AND all temp agencies here, where most emplyers got to first, won't send you to an assignment if you don't have "RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION"!
Apparently since Obama's Economy has taken over, Metro Transit (KZoo city buses) do not qualify as such.

One job that keeps coming through Michigan Works is blocks away. 15 min. walk...Snelling won't send me even though I have 17 yrs. forklift exp.
