    A lot of monkeys can become violent. Those animals weren't meant to be confined alone or in simple pairs in a house. They should live with their community in a jungle somewhere.

    No, I don't have much interest in Monkeys; especially when used as pets . . . They are subject to turning on their owners; and there are several instances where they bit someone's finger off.

    i would never wish to 'own' a monkey.. they deserve to be free in the wild. But i DO think he is adorable.. and his face is so similar to human..

    Honestly I don't think primates should be kept as pets. Monkeys and Apes should be free to roam the wild - it's likely that no domestic home would allow a large enough territory for them.

    Those folks who voted Yes don't know what it takes to keep a primate as a pet. Wild animals are especially difficult.

    That being said, the lesula isn't weird at all. It looks a lot like a human being. I think it's the eyes.

    No, leave them alone. Primates do not make good pets at all and can turn violent at the drop of a hat. These rare monkeys are already being used as bush meat by those willing to penetrate their very remote habitats. I'm sure the perverted Asian markets are already paying big money for their body parts by now as well.

    i think he's cute! i love monkeys. they shouldn't really be pets though if we're going to get all literal. they aren't meant to live with us they get out of control and we don't have the means to feed them correctly. just one look at some of these people who have been deformed from chimp attacks have changed my mind. owl face monkey
