The color yellow is having its moment. From
Willow Smith to Taylor Swift to Jennifer Lopez, stars are brightening up the chilly winter by wearing the most notoriously hard-to-wear color. Smith, 11, wore a romantic floor-length yellow gown tied at the waist to the BET Honors event in Washington earlier this month.

Here's Taylor Swift doing some shopping in a pretty navy blue sweater and yellow skirt combo (note the red lips -- also a hot trend right now):

And here's fashion maven J-Lo at the "American Idol" auditions in a long yellow coat:

Kirsten Dunst, Paula Patton and Maria Menounos wore yellow to the Golden Globes; Camilla Belle and Minka Kelly gave the color a try at a gala earlier this month; Elizabeth Olsen, Diane Kruger and Elle Fanning wore it to the Critics' Choice Awards; and Jennifer Hudson wore it to her book launch, according to The Daily Mail.
Wearing yellow seems like a great way to cheer up a cold January day, but it really doesn't look good on everyone, especially those with fair complexions. We've tried it, but we're not sure it works for us. Do you think yellow is a fashion "do"? It certainly gets you noticed!
But it's a colour that looks wonderful on some people.
Some people wear it well, others look like there covered in egg yolk or they are jaundiced.
I hope I can carry off the colour the way I imagine it in my head.
I do know the girl on the left from Twilight, but since there is a colour difference between the two photos, the model in the other photo could be fake XD
anycolor....
I love any cheerful and bright color for the matter...
