The Big Question 2012/12/03 21:23:16
You!

Twenty years ago, a young British engineer unknowingly invented text messaging. On Dec. 3, 1992 Neil Papworth used his computer to send the words "Merry Christmas" to the mobile phone of
Vodaphone executive Richard Jarvis. Ever since, text messaging has become a trillion-message a year
phenomenon. But, be honest: Would you rather text or talk?

I can see the person face. It's better to know their reactions and feelings.

Texting still sucks. I'd much rather call and get it over with quickly.

Talking's easier, but text messaging still has it's place - just ask my teenage kids.

Unless your 15 minutes late. I worry that the next generation will lose the ability to grasp the fine art of conversation. What a dull (and cold?) world it would be.

I have texting blocked from my phone, because texting is dangerous. You can't text and multitask safely.

for the most part I am not much of a talker. If I am around people i feel comfortable with then I will talk in person. but there are only a few that I can talk to on the phone. i have some friends that don't understand that and get upset because i don't talk on the phone, but i can't help it
