  I love them all. The American Bison (in the question), the Wissent or Zubr or European Bison, The Carabao, the Tamaraw, the Murah Buffalo (milking buffalo gives milk for Mozzarella cheese)., the African Buffalo.

  I was so thankful when I saw the pictures, that the human admirers don't look like buffalos as well. We have dogs, cats, lizards, spiders, ferrets, snakes as pets.. How is this any different?
  
  I didn't know these animals were this huge though. They're freakin' huge.
  
  For those of you claiming they are bison, many people don't realize there is a difference between buffalo and bison

  I love them but. believe these happen to be bison. If I could I would love one in my backyard but not my house.

  Sure Buffalo's are sweet outdoors eating grass, but in your house? This dumb couple will be killed by them one day in their homes... Kicked to death or gored to death. i have seen this type of thing too many times. It always ends badly.

  Not around little kids, buffalo are dangerous. We thought about replacing our cow calf operation with buffalo earlier this year. We found out buffalo are way to dangerous to have around small children.

  Living is dangerous. They may not have them inside for long periods of time. They seem docile like cows though. I think as long as these people give them large spaces to move, there won't be a problem. You can have pet elephants if you have the time and money to support their enormous appetites and vast space needs.

  I love buffaloes but I always say that no one has the right to have a wild animal in their home. Soooo... Is a buffalo a wild animal or a domestic animal?
