If you were at a Hollywood party and Johnny Depp, Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller, Julia Roberts and George Clooney were all talking with you and having a good time and then they laughed at a friend of yours as the friend walked by, would you stick with them or stick up for your friend? (Be honest)

LoveBug 2011/12/26 04:03:34I would turn on the celebs for there treatment of my friend.+6I believe talking, or laughing, behind a person's back just shows a lack of class. It also shows what kind of person they really are when they do it.

- overdog001 2011/12/26 15:55:22Other...please explain+3If I were at a party and Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz were in the room, I would take my friend and leave, because I would immediately know it to be a dream. How? Because Diaz and Roberts are no-talent hags, only good for nightmares.reply
- Temlakos~POTL~PWCM~JLA~☆ 2011/12/26 12:32:28I would turn on the celebs for there treatment of my friend.+2It would be high time that somebody told those people that human society has rules, and those rules must apply to everyone, including them. Now maybe I'm prejudiced: I don't think I'd want to be caught dead talking to those people anyway, except as an in-country missionary bearing witness.reply

- Barbara 2011/12/26 07:34:02Other...please explain+3Depends on why they were laughing. If they were being critical or rude, I'd walk away and go talk to my friend. (Pretty much thinking this is a position I will not have to deal with in my lifetime!)reply

+2True. I just needed some celebs that would make this a conundrum. : )reply - Mrkando Luckydog38 2011/12/26 05:23:41

+1That's the way to be but the money and other things that come along with it can be tempting....???reply - Zervur Luckydog38 2011/12/26 04:32:24 (edited)
+2Valid points; but, its important to know who your real friends are and I feel their is a duty to friend that transcends anything that come with fame. Even at the lowest selfish level of reasoning I would know that these people treat their "friends" as disposable toys and I would not even rise to the level of a "friend" to them -where would I stand?reply -

+1Let's be honest. The money isn't theirs. It belongs to the studios, the record labels, etc. And the celebs are slaves to it. "You cannot serve both God and wealth." Especially if the wealth comes from somebody else.reply -
+1"You cannot serve both God and wealth." Great quote. Dillon also borrowed this Biblical premise in "You gotta serve somebody". So true.reply - LoveBug 2011/12/26 04:03:34I would turn on the celebs for there treatment of my friend.+6I believe talking, or laughing, behind a person's back just shows a lack of class. - Philo-WHEREAREYOU,USA? 2011/12/26 03:55:19I would turn on the celebs for there treatment of my friend.+4Assuming the friend they were making fun of was a genuine one, I'd defend him/her, no hesitation. I would try to be polite, but wouldn't put up with bad treatment of my friend.reply
- Beautiful_Syn 2011/12/26 03:53:24Other...please explain+5I would asked them why they laughed if it was a simple they laughed at something and it just happened to be when my friend walked by I wouldn't think nothing of it however if they laughed because of my friend I would call them rude and walk away from them because no one not even Hollywood elite would mock my friend in front of me and I wouldn't be a true friend if I stood there and said nothing to them about it.reply
- Andy 2011/12/26 03:46:51I would turn on the celebs for there treatment of my friend.+5I have had the opportunity to spend time with many famous people...most I have never seen since. I will hang with my friend always!!reply

+2That environment is pretty hollow after a while unless a true friendship (unrelated to the celebrity) is cultivated.reply - TommyC 2011/12/26 03:42:45Other...please explain+4when would i be hanging out with celebrities lol i would stick with my friend 100%reply

+2Circumstances can arise. It's just a hypothetical. All the more reason to wonder if they would have sway over you if you feel it would be an unlikely opportunity.reply
