
Teen Makes Graduation Dress Out of Math Homework: Pretty Clever or Pretty Ugly?

Still trying to come up with a graduation dress? Look no further than your math homework. That's exactly what 17-year-old Canadian student Kara Koskowich did, using almost 75 pieces of paper to make a unique and inexpensive frock.


"For me, it's not a big, spend your money, you have to look this nice, you have to fit into this mold of grad," Koskowich told CBC. "It's supposed to look like an explosion," she added. Koskowich started making the dress in March, but didn't finish until the night before graduation. She stood beside her friend Dorothy Graham, who made her dress out of plastic shopping bags.
"It was actually funny because everyone was wearing these elegant dresses and we're in dresses that cost nothing and we were the most popular people there," Graham told CBC. What do you think of Koskowich's dress? Pretty clever -- or pretty ugly?
