Quantcast

Swept down one waterfall & about to plunge over a much larger one, a 13-year-old boy managed to climb onto a foot-wide rock to await rescuers. Is a person with a strong will to live not out-of-touch with reality more likely to survive than one who isn't?

Yes a liberal would be too concerned with harming the enviroment by scraping moss off the rock and would have died while contemplating the repercussions of saving themselves.
That is why they vote for political correctnesss over financial responsibility, and thus for Obama who does not have enough sense to run a lemonade stand.

You never know how much of a will to live you have unless you are tested. I have never been tested that far so i don't really know. But i do know that when pushed i will push back.
Not in the habbit of taking crap or being pushed around. If i was in that 13 yr olds positioin i would find a place to stop too and await help.

You do have a good point here ..
thoughtful actions .. based on good decisions when faced with REALITY ..
    have good outcomes ..
this Child was smart enough to get to the ledge and STAY PUT ..
the rescuers were intelligent enough to not repeat any mistakes ..
we can all learn a good lesson from this ..
    Do NOT repeat mistakes!

Reality is truth. Out of touch with it is not. So your chance of survival in a reality mind is a lot better.

I think he's both lucky and quick thinking. Glad he's okay.

I think when your in a life and death situation and so long as you don't panic. The, your survival instincts are very acute and helps you think and act in a clearer than normal way.

Those who have a hard time accepting reality and the threats of danger imposed by it are also more likely to vote for Obama.
