There is no doubt that parents, at one point or another, will embarrass their children. A recent survey out of the U.K. found that the parent most likely to have an embarrassing moment with their child... is dad.

Over 2,000 13- to 21-year-olds were polled and 60 percent said that their dads are "lame." Among the reasons: "poor fashion choices and bad haircuts." According to The Huffington Post, a spokesperson for Specsaver, the British company conducting the survey, said that he wasn't surprised by the results. “Most of us have been embarrassed by our old man at some point,” he said.

HUFFINGTONPOST.COM reports:
It is a universal truth that parents will, at some point or another, embarrass their children. But a recent online survey by British company Specsaver found that it's dad -- not mom -- who forces kids to hide their heads in shame most often.

Mine is gone now. But in his youth he played pro-football in the old days. My sister's boyfriends were always scared when they met his 6'31/2", 280 lb. frame. And he really didn't act very nice with his deep loud voice. We laughed about it all the time. We still always loved him, though!

I don't care about his hair, or how he dresses... he just tries too hard to be funny sometimes, and it's embarrassing when it's just not funny. His neutral expression (which I like to call a "death glare") actually scares my friends, though. My best friend doesn't like being around my dad because she thinks he looks like serial killer. :P I don't see it.

My Dad is super cool, plays in a band, is a lover of women. The only embarassing thing about Dad is how the women toss themselves at him. :)

Why care what they think. Dad is supposed to be Dad. He's not supposed to be American Idol but THe Enforcer. Too bad too many Dads aren't comfortable with being the MAN and Too many women, want to be one.
