Suri Cruise's $130,000 Christmas List: Rad or Ridiculous?

Suri Cruise isn't an ordinary kid -- so it should come as no big surprise that her Christmas list is more like a Hollywood starlet's than a 5-year-old girl's. The celebrity spawn of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has a holiday wish list worth $130,000, InTouch Weekly reports. The list reportedly includes a $100,000 pony, $15,000 diamond earrings and $1,500 gowns that will make her "look like a fairy princess."

suri

And yes, she's getting what she wants. "Tom and Katie love the holidays and always go overboard. They are buying Suri absolutely everything she asks for," a source told the magazine. Her parents reportedly want her to have a "magical time" at Christmas.

And as for her famous sense of style, Cruise says it's innate. "She was just born that way. I don't know what to say," Cruise, 49, told Us Weekly at the "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" premiere in NYC Monday. "She really creates her own outfits." She also "dresses herself," he says.

"Katie has her create things and sew and stuff like that. It's kind of amazing," Cruise said. "It's beautiful. It's really beautiful." Beautiful -- if you can afford to blow six figures on clothes she won't fit into next year.

This child is going to grow up feeling entitled and spoiled rotten. Just beause you CAN give your child the moon, it doesn't mean that is the BEST thing to do.

My parents always taught me to love everyone. No matter what color, sex or religion you are rich or poor. We are all human. She may have fortunate parents. But, she will mostly likely grow up arrogant and spoiled, most likely to look down at people who don't fit to her standards.

Trust me i know and hate people like that. I won't exactly put her down but the possibilities are If they spoil her most likely she'll turn out that way.We may never know. Let's just hope it's the opposite and she grows up treating everyone the same like my parents taught me.

It's ridiculous, but at the same time it's logic... She's the only child of two millionaire celebrities, we can't compare her Christmas gifts with the ones we can afford. Wouldn't you like to give your kids a fantasy gift?

This child will never be normal. I see serious issues ahead for her. Might as well buy her a Bentley and she is 12 years away from a Driver's License.

I don't think that any rich kid...specially a Hollywood's rich kid can ever be normal. But you know, If your parents make millions of dollars a year you would be disappointed if they got you an easy-bake oven for Christmas. But of course not everything should be spoiling, her parents should teach her to be generous as they are to her too...

It is what parents do for their kids.
Average your yearly earnings and see what % of it you spend for a child in Christ.Mass.
Now, average Suris parents earnings a year and see that they were stingy.

But can anyone really be surprised? I'm not. I hope mom and dad are putting some money away for the little monster they're creating because if she can't find a way to fund a lifestyle that is already beyond extravagant, she is going to get slapped right across the face with a harsh dose of reality when the money runs out.

This is revolting. 130 grand for clothes and toys this kid won't be interested in 2 weeks later when we have children out here who are wishing for a jacket without holes or school supplies or-God forgive us-a decent meal or a roof over their head? Shame of Crusie and his flaky wife.

Well said but I think it's all Cruise as he's such a fanatic in everything he does. From some pictures I've seen of Katy, she looks miserable and pretty worn out. He's high maintenance too. I don't think for one minute she's as happy in that marriage as she says she is.
