The Beach Boys are surfing to the top of the charts once again with their first
album of new material since 1992. The album, “That’s Why God Made the Radio” has
given the iconic surf band its highest-ever chart debut.
The album raced
onto the chart at No. 3 , according to Billboard magazine.
The Beach
Boys' first hit "Surfin' U.S.A." made the top ten the week of June 15, 1963.
According to Billboard magazine, “The Beach Boys' stretch between their
first week in the Billboard 200 top 10 to their most recent is now the longest
among groups, passing the Beatles, whose top 10 span covers 47 years, seven
months and three weeks.”
