TSA....the last time I traveled, I was one of the "selected random" detailed inspections. I don't know where anyone got the notion that it was okay for a government bureaucrat to demand we hand over our wallets but that is exactly what happened to me.
Maybe security increases our safety but it definitely reduces our freedom. Remember the days when the Soviet Union was practically crime free? Everybody was quite safe as long as they didn't say or do anything which the government found objectionable. They were safe from the free lance criminals and slaves to the State.
The number of old, out of style motels and hotels that are still charging you an arm and a leg. If they are still using heavy bed spreads they are not with the times.
My wife got stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic to day on the way to Disneyland. Traffic causes frustration and bitterness by the time you get to the amusement park or vacation destination.
