A recent study (yeah, I know, another study stating the obvious) concludes that men want more sex than their wives. Catherine Hakim writes in The Telegraph, "...wisdom about men wanting more sex than their wives is not an unfair stereotype but a fact."
She continues to refer to studies that show the internet allows men (and women) to have affairs, which keep everyone happy. Ms. Hakim concludes, "The time has come, alongside the technology, to redraw the rules of marriage for the 21st century."

and it should be illegal, because you don't know if the man or woman.
showers everyday.
first of all you it hurts your husband or wife alot because that means,
you don't love them, i think affairs are wrong sick gross.
and i think it sould be ilegal.
Perhaps instead of an obvious study like this, these researchers should start talking about the long term effects on children of broken marriages. That is tomorrow's society.
If you truly love someone, you would talk with them about the problems in the relationship instead of being a coward and cheating
I would say, it depends on the couple. And every pairing (or more if your bent that way) have to find out what works for them. But the number one thing they have to do is TALK.
Cheating is for selfish cowards.
Whatever the couple decide, it's their choice. It is not ours. If they decide that it works for them, so be it. If not, so be it. But the two in question have to have open dialog or otherwise, affairs or not, the marriage is done.
