Are you a dog lover? Or do you prefer to cuddle with a kitty cat? If you picked pooches, we have good news for you: owning a dog may be good for your health.

In a study at University of California, San Francisco, researchers found that house dust from homes with dogs helped protect against a common cold strain, the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV.) And now scientists are saying this could apply to kids, too, ABC News reports.
RSV can be severe and even fatal in premature and chronically ill infants, and it is associated with increased risk of developing asthma, ABC reports. The new study adds credence to the theory that exposure to animals early in life helps "train" the immune system, and prevent kids from getting asthma. Having a dog has also been linked to better cardiovascular health, reduced anxiety and loneliness and other health benefits. So ... do you prefer dogs? Or cats?

Cats are selfish little creatures with no loyalty, if they walk into another house and find a owner that feeds them better food they stay, ungreatful little pricks.
Dogs, love you more than they love themselves.
I am trying to get my hands on a lion (sounds crazy yes, but I love exotic animals), I am sure they would make for great security and I am sure I can learn a thing or two about cats from them.
I have never seen a cat react to an intruder or visitor until they have invaded its personal space, I dont know where you would train a cat.
Your point?
My point is still that dogs prove to be much more of a aid in a regular home, if cats are beneficial to there owners, awareness needs to be increased.
They are a luxoury* pet and nothing else.
They are also right at the door when I come home every night alone with the dogs. So, you have obviously not been used to what normal cats are like. Read the other comments from other cat owner and you will see that we all have the same experience.
