I wonder if their experience is that they receive more roade rage from others or do they express more road rage toward others?

If they receive more, then perhaps fewer of them should drive while texting, talking on the phone, feeding their children or applying makeup at the same time.

Am I a sexist pig stereotyping women?.....

In any case, what the worst thing a motorcycle driver has to fear on the road? An 18 wheeler losing control or a soccer mom in a minivan?

They're quicker to lose their minds over things they perceive as rude or disrespectful. But the men who come in an almost unnoticeable second (truly a photo finish) are far more likely to actually get out and assault you for nothing. I'd rather have a psycho woman next to me losing her mind in her car over nothing than a man doing the same. Men jump out and beat on you/your car with their hands&feet...; women run their car into you then start crying when they realize they're going to jail now.

Or maybe I should say that women might get mad, but they don't act on it. I've never heard of a case of road rage where a woman shot somebody, but have heard of cases where men did. The one serious case I know about is my former brother in law who got so mad at a driver in a parking lot that he slashed their tires. I personally can't see a woman doing that, either.

Absolutely not! I am a fast driver and like to drive in the left lane. It's the men I find have no patience or tolerance of other drivers.

well I can't speak for all women but I have bad road rage, I'm working on calming it down but geez...some people just deserve to be flipped off and cussed..idiot drivers

No chance - I'm afraid this is one of those studies that is deliberately skewd to give an unexpected result - like the ones that show that alcohol is actually good for you... Women are far less aggressive and impatient than men behind the wheel - but of course there are always going to be exceptions to the rule...

Of course everybody knows women are more emotional than men (snark). I think en are just as prone as women regardless what the study says, plus men resort to violence more frequently. ten yrs & almost a million miles behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler makes me a pretty good judge of drivers.

I have to disagree, my Mother only gets mad while driving when she has already had a bad day, but my dad..... He has constant road rage!!! He got in a fight with another guy in te car next to us and tried to drive hi off the road and the guy did the same....

Well Idk bc my mom is an angry driver, my dad is a calm driver, my brother is like my mother and my uncle is angry driver but my aunt is calm. So wtf is totally mixed
