Processing something as an object (body parts) is not the same thing as the act of objectifying women.

Our brain also sees animals as food. But we are able to refrain from eating our cat.

Men can (and should) act right toward women.

If you were a cave woman, you wouldn't know any different. I doubt he could have smelled worse than some of the folks I share a subway car with on the way home from work some days.

A cave woman would undoubtedly have an odor issue going on herself.

Back then, there was an obvious excuse for the 'bodily humors'. Today, no excuse to cruise around in public nauseating those who are downwind of you.

Men are hard-wired to appreciate characteristics that speak to the odds of reproduction, the hourglass shape, symmetry and golden mean ratios in the face, etc. Whether that qualifies as "objectification" may be a matter of semantics.

I'd say that it's not all that recent that men started being objectified by women...

He was really popular with the ladies.

I know in the 70's/80's women were all over him, I'm pretty sure.

Yes objectifying women is natural. This is why confusing what is 'natural' with what is 'good' is a bad habit.

There are many natural things that are immoral and unethical.
