    College is well known to put a serious hurt on one's checkbook anyway, so while I don't necessarily agree it should be free, it should be more affordable. Unfortunately, with a combination of inflation and funding cuts, colleges need to increase their fees to help cover the difference. It's a vicious circle.

    7. Wow, a free college education for everyone? Where are the trillions of dollars necessary to operate colleges and universities, pay for faculty and staff, and all of the expensive equipment and computers required in so many fields of discipline to come from? Besides, with most industries and businesses no longer operating, who’s going to hire graduates fresh out of college?

    Education is like any capitalistic business, subject to supply and demand. If every student dropped out of school for one term, the pricing would drop substantially. That's the power of the people. Use it!
