Finally, at long last, a supermarket that can cater to the condiment-loving, beer-swilling, BBQ-potato-chip-eating tendencies of men. I'm sure there won't be any broccoli quiche or fresh fruit in this "man aisle." Is it a good idea to have a "man aisle" at the grocery store for shopping-challenged dudes? Or is it just perpetuating the nutritionally challenged, neanderthal-male stereotype?
FOXNEWS.COM reports:

FOXNEWS.COM reports:
From condoms to steak sauce, New York City dudes can shop for everything they need at the city's first “man aisle” — a portion of an Upper West Side grocery store dedicated just to them.

Rock 2012/07/26 19:49:49No+22This is just like giving every kid a trophy, it takes away the incentive to make one's self better. We're guys, not idiots, we know where to find the beer, chips, and M&Ms.; Hell, we could probably even find powdered sugar, flour, and vanilla if you asked us nice enough.

Seriously people? lol
than us? While there are always some exceptions, for the majority of us the answear is a
resounding NO! Men in general are plain and simply NOT that helpless nor that stupid.
It is obvious that certain powers are interested in alienating "types" of people for some reason.
It is done to those without the most. Black, white, asian, indian, miscelanean, men and women. Everyone is suppressed by these stereotypes so long as they don't have the power to control the creation of said stereotypes.
It can be argued that some folks are aimed at more often, perhaps minorities and women, but there is no denying that oftentimes "advatnaged" people are not quite as advantaged as they seem.
my TWO favorite foods...!
...great, now i have to look like a dumbass going into the friggin "mens isle"
On one hand, the man aisle is great, mainly because of the convenience and not just for men, but anyone who just wants to find the munchies and beer quick before the game starts. I mean, do we seriously believe that men are the only ones who are gonna snack and drink beer while the game is on?
On the other hand, really nothing more than the name promotes the useless stereotype that men have these days. It's kind of demeaning that the article is written to point out that it's the "'man aisle' at the grocery store for shopping-challenged dudes" come on, not all dudes are shopping-challenged.
