just look at apple during its early years and compare that to what happened when he was ousted; then look at the companies success when he returned.

I don't think I'll ever witness as much of a success story as Elon Musk could tell. Between Paypal, Tesla (electric cars), SpaceX (rockets), and family, Elon has shown real savvy for putting himself in the face of expanding humanity.
