I think she should be checked for drugs and alcohol too. No parent in their right mind would encourage fights between their children, much less toddlers. Makes me a little embarassed to say I'm from St. Louis.

Yes, she needs to be taught the lesson that violence and bullying is bad, especially in the very young. Also, the police should be involved since this is child abuse.

In this case, I think embarassing them might help to avoid this stupid practice.

If it doesn't work, then yes, child welfare *should* get involved.

It is one thing to let your kids duke it out to solve a conflict, it is another to actively encourage violence. Those kids need to be removed from her care and she needs to be locked up.

And while they're at it, set up mommy dearest in a boxing ring with another fighter and make HER fight. We'll see if she ever pulls that !#$!#$ ever again!!!! I hope she gets what's coming to her. She endangered her kids. This moron must be on crack.

No, because in the foster care system they just might experience far worse than a few slaps from a sibling. The parent is obviously ignorant and lazy in the video, but calling CPS isn't right here. Maybe she does need a few parenting classes though.

It doesn't mean that the children go directly to foster care. She needs parenting classes, and a check-up to see if she's on crack,If these go badly, there may be a relative who can take them. She might change her style after some intervention. If not, then I'd rather be with foster care, if I were the child, as bad as that is.

These children are still in diapers. This woman needs to be checked out by social services. The "source" who knows the woman may know other things she is doing that is harmful to those children.

These kids look like they are the same age. Most likely, they've been fighting with each other all day over stupid stuff. And the mother probably was telling them to "go at it" in the same way some parents fall on the floor screaming to get their screaming child's attention when they are being too dramatic. The child sees how stupid it all is and they stop, usually in shock and then it's done. This video was short and I bet the girls stopped and fell asleep, waking up later to be best friends again later.

STUPID MOTHER NEEDS A WHIPPIN' AND A CHILD REARING CLASS..

She may not be the best parent, but there are children out there that are really being abused. There being beaten, burned and sexually abused. These are the children that truely need to be saved. Too much time and resources are being wasted on bad parenting and not enough on those that truely need to be saved.

Obviously not all parents are good parents. I guess who are we to tell her how to raise her children. I in no way agree with her parenting but i feel as though family and friends should be taking care of the situation.

Officials just make matters worse.

Okay I haven't seen the video,so I'm commenting on what I read here in this post.
Child Welfare I've found in most states are a joke.Their main objective is to appease the Judges and to use children as political pawns.
If children were truly placed first there would not have time for us to post and comment before they made decisions it would have been done already.As far as the Mother goes here... unless she put weapons in their hands or they were drawing blood and broken bones I see no harm in allowing kids to work out their differences.

I know I'll get a lot of flack for what I'm saying...but honestly.Do we not pay to watch wrestling,boxing?
Living in a rural community while my children were in grade school showed me that they need to "wrestle"

After hours of trying to get our children (mine and the neighbors) to calm down,stop bickering and to quit torturing each other. We took all six kids to the park & let them fight and wrestle.

Rule one if one person started tattling or was bleeding everyone got punished.

after a couple of days...they learned to get along.To this day all the kids are best friends.

Oh I thought she was just teaching her defense moves not actual training matches.....
