ROFLMAO. This is utter nonsense and superstition. I drank, smoked and did drugs for 35 years and jesus the imaginary magic man has nothing to do with the fact that I am clean and sober and a non smoker.

Nice try with the mission stuff but you might get a better level of discussion with more answers to choose from (or no answers to choose from) If you want to be a missionary don't witness by some formula. True spreading of the gospel involves actively getting to personally know people you are trying to witness to. There are no shortcuts.

It isn't because one priest slipped up, but several of them from all over the world have. Slander:a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report ie. a slander against his good name. None of these things are false. The connection is there, plain and simple.

The percentage of priests who did such horrible things is the same as the population at large who do the same things. Apparently there are so many people in society who are predisposed to be pedophiles. All I'm asking is to keep that in mind and not blame priests in general. Blame the specific individuals. That's only fair. Otherwise by your logic, you have to blame all public school teachers of the same thing. That would be just as unfair.
