Soda Companies Racing for a New Sweet Spot

Mopeder 2012/07/26 08:50:32
There's a race to come up with a new soda that can meet three conditions. It can't have any calories, or contain sugar. It must be all natural, so no artificial sweeteners, and it must taste just as good as regular soda, so no weird aftertaste. (July 26)

I rarely drink soda, but it is a good idea since so many others do drink a lot of it. I hope some upstart family company or the like come up with it first.

not calorie free, of course, but 50 calories AND 1 serving each of fruit and vegetable? what's not to like?

There's already Hansens natural soda and they have a sugar free variety. However I would like to see more brands.

I'm not fat, I'm not thin, I'm just a medium build. My age looks good.
Therefore, I without calories and without sugar are for the lack of human reason. Sugar is very important for humans to power capacity, durability and beautiful life.
Without the calories I work as a dead fish on the water.
I do not look like a skinny goat, who can not bear his wife a small suitcase.
Sugar and calories are from the Gods! He knows what is in the stomach good.
Who is untrained chef, stop to invent, which you not understand.

you just need to be careful with Orange pekoe tea. it blocks iron so shouldn't be drunk with meals as, over time, it can lead to anemia. for a between-meal drink, though, it's great.

The regular sodas are too sweet anyway. Just put less real sugar, don't replace it with anything and let us taste the minuscule amount of flavoring that is there.

Can't wait to see it and taste it. If that's so, it will be much better than the regular soda then.
