I used to fall asleep listening to 'BlessTheFall' and 'Suicide Silence'.
Suicide Silence's song 'Wake Up' became my alarm clock in a way.

Listening to music while lying down gives me a headache, so no I can't. :) Plus they hurt my ears when they push against the pillow..

I just don't like headphones, full stop! They isolate you from other people, they're bad for your ears, and I don't like the way they feel in my ears.

I often listen to my mp3 player when I am going to sleep, but I'm not listening to music, I listen to audiobooks and podcasts, the spoken word. I only put in one earbud when I listen to things, I want to be able to hear what is going on around me. If it's bedtime, then I set the timer to shut the mp3 player off so it isn't playing all night, I wake up later and nothing is playing, I pull out the earbud and stuff it under my pillow with the player.

I actually do when I'm in my dorm...people moving and talking is more annoying to me more than my headphones and music.

No, it has to be dead quiet in order for me to fall asleep, music keeps me awake but i'd think over time the headphones (earbuds) would become a little uncomfortable :S
