An Ohio man has been charged with animal abandonment after Humane Society authorities matched his name with a suitcase in which the six puppies had been trapped. The suitcase, allegedly belonging to Howard Davis, 53, had been left next to a garbage can in a Toledo alleyway.

This is the kind of story that really rips at me. I love dogs, and most animals really (the only exceptions are insects and spiders... ugh) so stories of animal cruelty really upset me.

Also, THOSE PUPPIES ARE FREAKIN' ADORABLE I WANT ONE.

That's horrible,people like that make me so mad.I'm glad that the puppies are okay,they are so cute.

awhhh... i can't believe somebody could do that.. those poor puppies.. at least take them to the spca so they could find good homes.. don't just leave them to die like that, i'm surprised somebody found them.

would arse wipe would do that to then. I not really fond of dogs but they shouldn't of deserve that sort of treatment :(

What the hell is wrong with people! It just makes me sick! One, if these were pure breed bulldog puppies he could have sold them, and made quite a bit of money. Two, if he didn't want to bother, take them to the pound. They will find a home in a matter of days.
