If you thought pole dancing was risqué for middle-aged ladies, wait until you find out who’s doing it now.
The Up Yer Pole club in Scotland has classes for kids 16 and under – and recently admitted a 6-year-old girl to the class, the Post Chronicle reports.
But Up Yer Pole (um, the title of the class alone is questionable) denies that it is training child strippers.
The head of the studio, Pammy Cameron, describes the classes as more gymnastics-based, and "there are no sexy routines or provocative dance wear, it just so happens there's a pole involved."
And, according to the website, “This is not wiggling around a pole … Our classes do not contain pole dancing or any sexy dancing, we focus purely on pole fitness throughout our full course learning gymnastic style moves like tricks, spins and inverts."
But, wait, it gets better. The classes take place above a nightclub and are open to boys and girls.
We'd love to hear kids asking their parents for permission to go to such a class, "Mom, I'm going to take gymnastic classes and there 'just so happens' to be a pole involved."

Why not? These days you can parlay that into a career

No way -- it's not appropriate.

I am a gymnast, and I personally would love to have a pole. The work of gravity against your body as you invert upside down and etcetera would build amazing strength in a small amount of time, not to mention that it would give you a well rounded exercise. It is actually more tiring than it looks, and would be very fun. I have nothing wrong with it, as long as the kids are wearing leotards and the like.
They should not be combined.
your right
Pedo.
Sex is GREAT for your health as well, it just happens to be used as a source of income by prostitutes. Does this make sex wrong?
My sister is a awesome poledancer, if you ever called here a stripper to her face you would soon realise just how great of a leg muscle builder it is.
If you think pole dancing is the same as sex then you are in desperate need of sex ed.
The question is about a pole edancing class for children, so by saying that there's nothing wrong with sex, in the context of the question, your'e saying that it's not wrong for children to have sex.
"It is ok for children to have sex"
This is not saying that it is ok for children to have sex.

Good day.
If your gonna start assuming things then why shouldn't I? ;)
