Military roles open to women vary around the world. In certain countries, women are allowed to serve in the military in roles of combat – Canada, Israel, Germany, U.S., and more.

Some believe that women should not serve in equal combat roles as men due to physical considerations. Others feel that as long as women can demonstrate that they can perform the same tasks as a male physically and mentally, then they should be allowed to do so.

I was particularly interested in knowing if some religions prohibit women to serve in combat – but couldn’t find much in my google search. I don’t believe there are any restrictions in Christianity, Judaism, Scientology. If you can hold a rifle you can take part in combat also though the us allows them to join combat roles in the military they don't get put on the frontlines as much and there are many roles where they're still not allowed. As for my religious beliefs I'm an Asatruar in many ways it's a warrior religion and many of the gods in my religion are also war gods including many of the goddesses. My people don't judge by what ya got between your legs but by whether you have the honor and courage to be a warrior.

I'm just a pacifist in general, I guess. I'm not really a fan of organized religion, but I believe in God and was raised with a similar kind of non-religious, non-church-going but God-believing, Christian background.
