Harry had the determiniation to serve with his unit in harms way. He made every effort to see that he could be there as a trained officer of the Crown so they could be at full strength to complete their mission. You obviously did not know Harry was on the ground in the middle east during combat operations and were not is a resort area. While Harry had his gonads exposed in those photos, he had the "intestinal fortitude", "gonads", "balls" to stand with his men in hostile territory. That is why Harry's unit stands with him in solidarity. Then there is that matter of "conduct". It is conceiveable that Queen Elizabeth could have changed his diapers or given him a bath when he was a child and seen his stuff then. When the report of an officer in her service is exposed as an adult at some party, her senior officers have to respond to maintain discipline all the way to the lowest private.

Hero stuff? America sent thousands to Vietnam and ran a so-so war, lost some 58,000 killed and they were welcomed back with boos, jeers and cries of "baby killers" that went on for decades. Don't belittle anyone in uniform from the UK or America. There are also several nations who have noble, patriotic people in uniform for their own defense. They deserve the utmost respect as well!

Patriotism is the virtue of the vicious. ....Harry's family is paid 25 million a year and pay no taxes to do PR work for England. His bill at the casino was a years salary. So his grandma was paying it from the peoples money. He needs to get a grip. He's never seen action. Not that I remember. All hyperbole. It wouldn't matter. He has responsibilities. My opinion on this is not very popular on SH, and I could care less. It's my opinion!

Harry's other indescressions, I am unaware of. The degree of action, I have no need to discuss. He served with his men and participated in at least some aspects of their missions. As one who was a potential prize for any Islamic rifleman or homicide bomber, I know he displayed a lot of guts in going there. He has also showed little regard for himself or the memory of his mother in this most recent adventure. Like father, like son!

I love the Royals. Lived in Newfoundland when in elementary school and stood 20 feet from the queen. I found it romantic and a wonderful experience. She's a tough old bird. The best of them all. He ought to love and respect her, at least as much as I do. He could be King; that's huge. Yes, he's as dry as his Father.

As a military man, he is subject to certain restrictions and codes of behavior. He violated these rules and regs and should be disciplined appropriately. He may be an officer, but he's certainly no gentleman.

    Tell me something?
Do you think for one moment had this been someone else other then Royalty or a famous person, this would ever go the direction it is going in?
Someone KNEW who he was and KNEW he could make a name for himself...
Now were this have been someone like you or I do you really think it would have gone this far?

I know for a fact that if it had happened to an American officer of the same rank, he would have been up in front of a military court facing disciplinary action under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. At the very least, he or she would receive a serious verbal smackdown and one hell of a ding in his or her record that would likely prevent them moving up in rank for a long time.

But, and I agree with you on this one point, depending on the circumstances, it would probably not have been made public. Unless, of course, the officer in questions was a high profile serviceperson.

Granted the situation isn't ideal, but everybody deserves a chance to let their hair down a bit. He's already getting a rough time with the press and possibly his family. The military shouldn't just stand their and wait in line for their turn to chastise him for something he did on his own time overseas without the intent to bring disrespect to either of his roles as a prince or military person. Let it go. Let's move on.

Whatever they want to do or actually do...it won't matter one iota what our opinions are.
If your gramma "owns" the country, and the Army still has the balls to decide on discipline for a Prince, it's not likely that I'm going to think, or say anything that makes a difference.

Punish him? Hell no! He should be congratulated! HE DID NOTHING WRONG !!! he was in a PRIVATE HOTEL ROOM with guests doing the same thing .... WTF !! Harry is a excellent soldier and has the right to a private life..Being a Royal doesn't does not exempt him from having a life..... The Army should not get involved... if the info coming out of GB is that he is to get a dressing down then it will be ONLY a swat on his Royal hand just to suit the stupid ass PRESS......
If you want to see someone punished then punish Prince Charles ( his father) He carried on with a married woman and shamed Harry's beautiful and wonderful mother for years. Charles even took Camilla ( his horsy looking GF) on his and Diana's HONEYMOON...... how is that for very POOR behavior !

The people should punish him for leaving his soldier mates in the lurch in the Middle East. What a tosser! As far as his sex frolics go, well he could well pay the price later in life. A big problem with him of course is that he is young, pampered, a millionaire in his own right, PLUS millions in State Benefits, naive, and very, very dim. D-minus! If there is very little between the lugs, problems can and will occur.

No. For that matter how would they Punish him??? He is a prince that is not going to be king and what are they going to do? I suppose if they took all his money and credit cards away and car that would just about be as much punishment as he could stand. However if he is like most young men he would simply call up friends that would take him out for free and take him where ever he would like to go and bring the girls. He is kind of a rattle brain but then so is the rest of his family.

I think that he should get a citation on his record. He did bring disgrace to the office that he holds. He needs to learn some self control and be more private. Just because you are ROYAL it doesn't give you liberty to be stupid. (or at least it shouldn't) He's old enough to know better.

Self control??? He has lived a life of severe self control and discipline... He is grand person and loves life. He is not a direct heir to the throne and therefore entitle to FINALLY have a life.... Good soldier and good human being. Does an excellent job in his military career.. He certainly is a MAN in every sense of the word. Very normal. He is following in the footsteps of his ROYAL UNCLE ANDREW and it was all just fine too....
Even a Royal is entitled to have a private life.

So he should have been in pyjamas then? Or maybe the woman shouldn't have been naked. What if the idiot that took the picture would have photoed Harry in the shower naked with a woman, how guilty would he be in that case? He was enjoying his private quarters as straight men do sometimes.

What he does on his own time is his business. Harry is the brother who always gets picked on by the press; he wore a swastika to a halloween costume party, he drinks too much, parties too much, dates porno stars, blah, blah, blah,...reminds me of his uncle, Prince "Randy Andy" Andrew back in his day. And gee anyway, who cares?

No, he was on a leave. Yes, his behaviors were gross, and without class at all. However, He will be facing his own punishment and embarrassment from all over. The military need not worry about this matter. He is already feeling the sting of his Sin City romp....

When you are an active member of any military and nude pictures of you made it into the paper you would most likely get a "dressing down" ... (Ha... Ha) from someone further up the chain of command than you ... I don't think it's a big deal ... If I were him the flack I would be getting from my fellow soldiers would be a bigger worry

He is a Prince and a member of the UK Military and is subject to the rules and regulations there of. All you people who don't agree have never been in the military and don't understand that life is different in there, or was until Obozo was elected. Its called conduct not becoming an Officer and he has been in trouble before for this. An enlisted person would probably be busted in rank and forfeit his pay, plus restriction to base for 30 days. Some people in society are more accountable for their actions and he is one of them. Comes with the territory. It is one of the biggest problems that we have here in this country. No accountability and no respect for authority or GOD.
