Ladies, have you ever dated a shorter guy? Guys, have you ever dated taller? If you haven't, our friends at How About We have come up with 7 reasons why you should. Here are four of our favorites.

1. "Handsome doesn’t have a height requirement. Seriously, a good face and hot body looks just as good at 5'7" as it does at 6'3," they claim. This is true ... but you also have to look down to see him.

2. "Maybe you’re not a supermodel, but you’ll certainly get to feel like one when you go out with him in heels," they argue. Who wouldn't want to feel like Katie Holmes standing next to Tom Cruise once in a while?

3. "A short guy willing to go out with a girl who’s taller than he is is confident and probably ok with his girlfriend upstaging him. He’s not too hung up on appearance or machismo. This is a good quality to have in a boyfriend." Agreed.

4. "Uhm, you say Napoleon Complex like it’s a bad thing? Guys with Napoleon complexes are ambitious, capable and driven: they also have learned how to command respect through means other than appearance, all admirable traits." This appears to be true ... some of the shortest guys we've known have been the hardest working.

The truth is, a few inches really shouldn't make a difference, and can even look kind of sexy. And ladies, have you really met so many great guys that you're willing to overlook (pun intended) shorter studs?

It does depend on the amount of height difference, but me personally I wouldn't date a taller woman (although I would be hard pressed to find a taller woman). If the woman is just a little taller it's no big deal, and I mean, different people have different tastes, whatever you like... but I like being taller.

If they really like each other, then that's up to them. I have never been attracted to men who are shorter than me, but I'm only 5'4", so any guy shorter than me is gonna be mighty short. My husband is 6', and he's perfect, in every way, for me.

Lmao. I can't imagine, either. I have known a few men who really do love their woman to be bigger- a lot bigger- than they are. I know a girl who is 6'2" and she's pretty, but THAT bioch likes to wear those tall-azz shoes too. I guess she likes to look at the top of everybodys head!

I think it would be good for her to sit down. Yeah they may break the damn chair, but it would be the start of a new sexual relationship. The thought of his balls in her planet sized ass running through his head, thats romance right there!! The thought of a woman putting her ass on that guys lap, thats a turn on right there. Many women dont realize that men want them to have big asses. They want to go try weight systems but thats not what we want. We want a slightly large woman with a even larger ass. We accept thin women because that makes them happy but a huge ass is where its at.

I'm sorry but I'm just saying my opinion. I don't like to judge people but I always notice this when people are out in public and I always try to picture me with a shorter guy. I don't think it would look right.

I'm 5' 9" and briefly dated a 6' 2" girl. In bed, her height made no difference. Out and about we got a few stares but so what. We enjoyed each other's company and that's what mattered. Location difference is what ended our dating. She lived in California and I was overseas in Saudi Arabia.

I personally wouldn't date a shorter guy. men are known to be the masculine aspect in a relationship, so the guy being shorter than the girl just looks out of place, odd and weird. But that's just my view on it

That's true. I think a man's height is second only to his penis size when determining his self-esteem ;) It'd be hard to feel like "the man" if you were significantly shorter than your date. And I'd imagine there'd be many a cruel joke made about the discrepancy. Sad but true.
