Plus-sized model Crystal Renn was outraged to learn that photos of her curvy figure had been retouched.
“When I first saw the photos, I would have to say I was absolutely shocked,” Renn, 24, told the "Today" show. “I didn’t think it was an accurate portrayal of my body in any way,” she said. “I’m a size 10, and that’s more like a size 2.”
The photographer who took the photos for the charity Fashion for Passion defended his work as routine.
“The minimal retouching that I did do, it’s nothing you wouldn’t see in any magazine today,” Nicholas Routzen said, according to the "Today" show. “There is nothing hidden about this.”
As a teen model, Renn developed anorexia and bulimia trying to get down to a size 0. Now that she's embraced her size-10 bod, she's more in demand than ever. You go, girl!

No+11I take great offense to a size 10 model being called plus size in the first place. I call it a healthy size!

such as
People have cellulite, pimples, bad hair days. Why act like anyone anywhere is perfect?
Besides, size 10 can be just as beautiful as a size 2-if not more!
However, size ten is in no way a plus size. Where I come from, size ten is medium.
Hell I'd go for that.
My current girl is a 6.
If it's too hide blemishes or acne, that's fine, but editing a model to appear thinner (especially when she's a PLUS SIZE model), is messed up.
Also, 10 should not be considered plus size...
