I think so. She is a beautiful woman. That she wants to compete says she is satisfied with , and confident in, her appearance. She also believes she has a chance to win. Also note that probably half of the ladies that compete in these things have breast implants, or have had some kind of cosmetic surgery. I would say that that means they aren't "natural born women" either. So she was born male. So what? She is not male anymore. Legally and appearance-wise. She is actually better looking than many of the women that compete. Let her try. If she wins or loses, it should be based on the actual contests, not her previous gender. I will love it if she wins, cause that'll mean she is just as much a woman as those born that way. Good luck to her.

His/her chromosomes say she is a male , she was a male at birth and some time later altered her appearance to be female - the contest is for those born female. They can change the rules of course - but seems strange to me that we would consider non-females for a female contest. Can Mr Universe be a female who altered her genitals to male? Or do our chromosomes determine what we are at our base??

The contest is for the judgement of physical beauty only. Plastic surgery is an acceptable part of the rules. I do not see what your problem is with that.

I make up nothing - if they decide it can compete - their decision. I simple repeat it is a man at the chromosomal level - all the plastic surgery in the world will not change that fact. That is science. Like it or don't - it is a scientific fact.

Quite frankly it is not that simple. The hormones and biology of these transgender people is extremely complicated.
